Armenia and the EU have signed the Partnership for Mobility Declaration in Luxembourg. The document was signed by Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and EU Commissioner for Home Affairs Cecilia Malmstrom. The main goal is management of migration, control of illegal migration and entrance of Armenian citizens to the EU, News Armenia reports.
Nalbandian expressed confidence that the document will allow rapprochement of Armenia and the EU, improvement of contacts. The sides plan to ease the visa regime. Armenia hopes to sign a deal on the visa regime and readmission. Lifting the visa regime is the next stage of cooperation, Nalbandian underlined.
