Tbilisi is hosting a session of the Joint Ukrainian-Georgian Interstate Commission for Economic Cooperation chaired by Vice-Premiers of Ukraine and Georgia, S. Tigipko and G. Baramidze, apsny.ge reports.
The sides will discuss trade-economic cooperation and their development.
Ukrainian Vice-Premier and Minister for Social Policy of Ukraine, S. Tigipko, laid flowers to the memorial of T.G. Shevchenko, met officials of local media and Ukrainian public organizations. The framework of the commission includes a business forum entitled “Ukraine – Georgia: high potential for partnership”, with the attendance of Georgian Prime Minister N. Gilauri today.
