Swiss President Micheline Calmy-Rey has arrived in Georgia to meet President Mikhail Saakashvili, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said at a briefing today. The presidents will discuss technical aspects of Russian membership in the WTO.
Georgia approved Swiss proposals on Russian membership, accepting monitoring of Russian cargo transported to Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
Calmy-Rey had talks with the Russian president and decided to meet Saakashvili.
