Azerbaijani Interior Minister Colonel-General Ramil Usubov met the
head of the Turkish Gendarme Forces headquarters Mustafa Biyyik in
Azerbaijan, Trend reports, citing the press-service of the Interior
Ministry.
Usubov said that a lot of work has been done after the signing of the
intergovernmental protocol of cooperation between the head of the
Turkish Gendarme Forces and the Headquarters of the Interior Forces of
Azerbaijan on 31st October 1997.
He noted the importance of staff training and the use of rational
forms of cooperation. Usubov added that Azerbaijani military forces
are well-trained and can carry out any order at any time.
Mustafa Bayyik that Turkey is always ready to help Azerbaijan develop its army.
