The Russian government has simplified the rules for registering citizens, a related document was lodged in the bank of legislative acts, RIA Novosti reports.
Registration requires a contract on leasing of accommodation or a document on state registry of accommodation. The act comes into force on October 26.
People can file their requests via mail or electronic mail. A registration document will be issued within 8 days electronically. Filing documents at the registry office will allow the registry to be issued in 3 days.
