NATO chief arrives in Libya

The Secretary General of NATO, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, arrived today in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, Radio Svoboda reports on Monday.

The visit was unannounced.

Previously the UN Security Council decided to stop the operation in Libya on October 31st.

Rasmussen underlined that the NATO mission in Libya was one of the most successful in the history of the alliance.
