Ukraine to develop relations with Iran

Iranian ambassador to Kiev Akbar Kasemi delivered credential letters to
Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovich in the presence of Ukrainian
Foreign Minister Constantine Grishenko.

Yanukovich expressed his desire to Kasemi to develop relations and
cooperation between the two countries, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
Yanukovich noted that Iran is one of Ukraine’s leading partners in the
sphere of commerce in the region.

Kasemi delivered his credential letters to Yanukovich and said that the
strategic position of the two countries, historic and cultural ties,
as well as the industrial and technological structures of Iran and
Ukraine are important factors in extending bilateral relations between
the two countries.
