The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has rejected US charges in connection with an attempt to assassinate the Saudi ambassador in Washington, Trend reports with reference to the FNA.
The supreme leader said that Iran will make documents available in order to damage the international prestige of the United States.
In October, the US accused the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran in an attempt to organize the assassination of the Saudi ambassador in Washington. The incident caused a diplomatic crisis, not only in relations between Iran and the United States, but also with Saudi Arabia. The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, said that Tehran would have to answer for the incident.
