Georgia held talks with Russia on its terms of accession to the WTO, taking into account its national interests and in compliance with all the principles of international law, the President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili said today at a meeting with the Working Group of Georgia. From November 9-10 the group will hold the last round of talks in Switzerland with the Russian delegation.
Saakashvili said that since 1992 Georgia has been trying to monitor and control the goods located in Georgia and moving around Georgia, taking into account the entire territory, including Abkhazia and South Ossetia, Trend reports.
The President of Georgia expressed his hope that in the coming days, this matter will be brought to its logical end.
