Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has arrived in Libya's eastern city of Benghazi on an official visit, taking place at the invitation of the National Transitional Council (NTC), Press TV reports.
Salehi arrived in Libya on Thursday to hold talks with the NTC members and to exchange views with officials of the North African country on ways to expand mutual relations.
Talks about mutual and international issues, the necessity for the withdrawal of NATO forces from Libya and the fate of the prominent Lebanese Shia cleric Imam Mousa Sadr are main topics on the Iranian minister's agenda.
