The budget of the Armenian Ministry for Diasporas will reach $1.88 million, news.am reports.
Minister Granush Akopyan says 274.8 million drams will be spent on cultural events, 75 million drams will be spent on the program for Armenians to return home. 800 young men and women from disaporas visited Armenia in 2010.
About 32.5 million drams will be spent on cooperation with disaporas. About 3 million drams will be spent on Armenians from Iraq, who arrived in 2006-2007. There are about 700-800 Armenians from Iraq.
34.6 million drams will be spent on TV shows for the disaporas and 30.3 million on Internet resources.
The Ministry of Education and Science will spend 36.1 million drams to train teachers for Armenian disaporas.
