Military attacks on Iran would be a great mistake with unpredictable repercussions, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov commented on the Israeli plans for an operation against Tehran, ITAR-TASS reports.
Any conflict must be resolved based on principles approved by the UN Charter. The only solution to the problem is initiation of talks between the six mediators and Iran.
Russia has been calling for constructive proposals on making a breakthrough, Lavrov concludes, adding that the proposals are still in force and that they would help settle the problem.
