Ratings of many Russian governors are below 20%

The approval ratings of many Russian governors are below 20%, the results of an internal public opinion survey conducted by the "Public Opinion Foundation" (FOM) in late October which were published by Gazeta show.

The head of Karelia, Andrei Nelidov, is the most unpopular governor. Only 11% of interviewed approve of his government.

The ratings of seven other regional heads are less than 20 %: Paul Ipatov (Saratov region, 14%), Oleg Bogomolov (Kurgan region, 15%), Anatoly Brovko (Volgograd region, 15%), Ilya Mikhalchuk (Arkhangelsk region, 16%), Aleksandr Mikhailov (Kursk region, 17%), Nikolai Vinogradov (Vladimir Region, 18%) and Rashid Temrezov (Karachay-Cherkessia, 18%).

The most popular is the Kemerovo governor, Aman Tuleyev with a rating of 78%.
