NATO head visits Georgia

NATO will hold a session in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi on November 9-10. The meeting will start on Wednesday at 3 pm, Trend reports.


NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen will meet Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri within the framework of the NATO-Georgia Commission. The commission will hold a session at 4.30 pm.


Rasmussen and NATO ambassadors will meet members of the Georgian government and Chairman David Bakradze on November 10. A meeting will be held with Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze, opposition parties, media and NGOs.


NATO officials will meet Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili on November 10.


Anders Fogh Rasmussen will make a speech at the Tbilisi State University and meet soldiers of the NATO ISAF program.


The sides will discuss the action program for cooperation, democratic, economic and social reforms, cooperation in security, contribution of NATO-Georgia and prospects and integration.
