Russian Interior Ministry invites discussions of extremism

The Main Directorate of the Interior Ministry in the North Caucasian Federal District offered all Internet user to join discussions of extremist acts on the official website, Yuga.ru reports.


The official ministerial website launched discussions of the incident that had happened in Dagestan in late October. A vehicle with three peaceful citizens was found burnt out. The site has comments of religious figures on the incident.


800 people have read a banner inviting to the website in the last week. But only 3 comments were left. Users note a negative influence of crime on the image of the region, head of the directorate’s press service Mark Tolchinski says.


The official says that they will continue working with Internet users. People are welcome to express views on extremism in the region.
