Central election committee of Georgia ready for polls

The central election committee of Georgia has provided the conditions
for transparent May 30 local elections, the chairman of the
commission, Zarab Haratishvili, said, reports Georgia Today.
The commission has clarified the electoral list. The number of voters
according to the latest information is estimated at 3,544,770 and the
total amount of people employed at the elections will be 48,000. About
10,000 local and foreign observers will monitor the polling process.
Haratishvili also said that the results of mayoral elections in
Tbilisi will be announced the day after the polls.
