IMF recommends Georgia to reduce state debt

The IMF has recommended Georgia to start working on reduction of foreign debt. The statement was made by head of the IMF office in Georgia Edward Gardner, Business Georgia reports.


Georgian foreign debt covers about 40% of public sector which is a high indicator. Georgia lacks luxury to afford such a high debt.
