First meeting of Political Science Center "North-South" takes place

Participants in the round table discussion, organized as part of the presentation of the Political Science Center "North-South", have adopted a  suggestion on the work of the center as a result of the meeting. Participants expressed their firm belief that the center will support efforts aimed at consolidating the Russian expert community and establishing effective mechanisms for communication between scientists of Russia and countries of the South Caucasus.

The participants noted the existence of serious problems, both within the expert community and in terms of interaction between the main analytical groups and authorities, and have suggested several objectives in the form of a resolution.

The resolution notes that the number of interactive sites providing dialogue between the expert communities of Azerbaijan and Russia does not meet the missions defined by the format of strategic partnership between the two countries. Innovative technologies and expertise are not fully used in the format of cooperation and dialogue between the research communities.
