A resolution allowing states to leave the eurozone has been prepared by the Christian Democratic Union, headed by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, ITAR-TASS reports.
The resolution is introduced for the opening of a conference of the ruling political party of Germany.
The document allows states that cannot or do not want to fulfil their financial-economic obligations to leave the eurozone, while remaining members of the European Union.
Norbert Bartel, an authoritative MP of the Christian Democratic Union, expressed confidence that the resolution will be passed at the conference. States willing to leave the euro zone should not be forced to stay, he believes.
Berlin and Paris are preparing a radical reformation project for the euro zone, allowing the establishment of a federative core of the common economic and fiscal policy. Those of the 17 states of the eurozone that do not want to abandon part of their national sovereignty may leave it of their own will.
