Georgia reduces military expenses

The first Georgian project for the state budget of 2012 had military expenses of $416.5 million (which is 690 million lari, 640.4449 million of them were for maintenance and training of the armed forces). The new project provides $407.4 million of military financing, a reduction of about $9 million.


Wages and non-financial assets will not be reduced. The points for reduction of expenses have not been mentioned yet, unlike the previous year's budget.
