According to the statement made by the secretary of the Central Electoral Committee of Russia Nikolay Konkin, all regions of Russia have received equal funding for the electoral preparations. «We don't distinguish between the regions of the Russian Federation situated in Central Russia, Ural, Siberia and the North Caucasus», he said. However, according to the official, for the sake of safety of the NCFD polling districtst have been allocated additional funds for video cameras and metal detectors. Nikolay Konkin has found it difficult to say how much law enforcement officers would secure order in polling districts of the North Caucasus.
