The Islamic Republic of Iran and Russia security councils have signed a deal to expand cooperation.
Deputy Secretary of the Supreme Council of National Security of Iran, Ali Bagheri, and Deputy Secretary of Russian Security Council Yevgeny Lukyanov signed the agreement.
Talking to IRNA and IRIB after the inking, Bagheri said under the deal Iranian and Russian security councils will cooperate in the security, economic, political and intelligence field, FARS News reports.
