Civilians released, militants continue shootout in Kaspiysk

Police have rescued six civilians, the wives and children of militants, from a surrounded house in Kaspiysk, RIA Dagestan reports.


The militants refuse to give up. Their parents were called in to persuade them. They had talks, but still refused to surrender.


Gunfire can be heard at the moment. The militants opened fire from a private house on the Street of Ramzan Aliyev in Kaspiysk this morning. The counter-terrorism regime was imposed at 4.20 am.
