The US cannot give legal guarantees that anti-missile systems will not be aimed at Russia, US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman said, ITAR-TASS reports.
She says that Russian officials may make a visit and see that NATO anti-missile systems are not a threat to Russia.
Commenting on Russian participation in US anti-missile tests in 2012, Wendy Sherman says that Russian officials may bring any equipment they may need with them, despite the US ban on any essential information on the anti-missile systems to Moscow.
The US diplomat admitted the complicated pace of negotiations but expressed hope for a solution to the situation.
