Project of North Caucasus tourism cluster wins MIPIM Asia Awards 2011

The Russian project of the North Caucasus tourism cluster has won a prestigious contest of the MIPIM Asia Awards 2011 as best project of Middle and Western Asia, RIA Dagestan reports.


Director General of the Resorts of the North Caucasus State Corporation, Alexey Nevsky, says that it is a great achievement for the corporation and Russia as a whole. It proves that the state is capable of realizing an innovative, advanced and prospect project.


The contest had 80 developer projects from 15 states. Leading real estate experts selected the  best project. The country will demonstrate its investment and developer potential, Nevsky says.


The nominations include: best project of the future, best business center, best "green" building, best hotel and resort zone, best mixed type of building, best residential building, best trade center and best project for renovation of urban construction. Winners were chosen by participants of the exhibition and a closed ballot of the judges.


Alexey Nevsky received a golden statue of the MIPIM Asia Awards 2011. He expressed hope that the Resorts of the North Caucasus would show new achievement at the next contest in 5 years and successful realization of the project.
