The French Embassy in Azerbaijan is not commenting on the replacement of Bernard Fassier from the OSCE Minsk Group for settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the appointment of former Ambassador to Ukraine Jacques Faure, 1news.az reports.
The 64-year-old Faure has been French Ambassador to Albania, Estonia, Slovakia and Ukraine. He supervised the European section in the French Foreign Ministry. Armenian media have recently reported about his appointment as OSCE MG co-chair.
