Leaders of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus have signed formation of a Common Economic Space. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev does not rule out that the Eurasian Economic Union may be formed by 2015, he said at a press conference after the signing today.
Medvedev emphasized that not a single state will have advantages over others, it is a commission based on principles of the market and democracy, hopefully taking into account international experience, he explains.
The step demonstrates that successful integration of Russian, Belarusian and Kazakh economies will develop for the sake of the states and their peoples.
President Dmitry Medvedev introduced the bill on ratification of the agreement on the Eurasian Economic Commission, signed between Kazakhstan and Belarus on Friday.
