Turkish Foreign Ministry recommends Turkish citizens to avoid traveling to Syria

The Turkish Foreign Ministry has recommended citizens of Turkey to refrain from trips to Syria, Trend cites the Turkish newspaper Yeni Safak.

Turkish diplomatic missions were earlier attacked in several cities of Syria.

About a thousand demonstrators attacked the Turkish embassy in Damascus week ago, throwing stones and bottles at the building.
Only the arrival of the police prevented a possible assault on the embassy. Today, on the border with Turkey, a bus carrying Turkish pilgrims
returning from Saudi Arabia was attacked in Syria. One pilgrim was injured.

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that the growing crisis in Syria could lead to a civil war.
