The runaway member of the Novosibirsk District Parliament, Dmitry Gordeyev, has been deprived of his membership in the structures, the First Caucasian Information Channel said.
The former member of the United Russia Party requested political asylum in Georgia. Gordeyev had a conflict with the Russian Security Service over his information on police criminals. Gordeyev traveled to Thailand in March, where he was kidnapped by the Russian Special Services, he claims. He managed to escape to Georgia.
Russia accuses Gordeyev of stealing 10 million rubles from a construction company. He is on the federal wanted list.
