"The concept of the migration policy for the next decade is not developed. I believe that it should necessarily include a set of qualifying requirements for people who come not for vocation but to work. And we need to demand the unconditional carrying out of these statutes," Medvedev said, ITAR-TASS reported.
The President also noted that migration policy should create conditions for the adaptation of immigrants in Russia.
"We are certainly interested in it, so that they know the language, that they follow our rules and our traditions. Without this, unfortunately, it is almost impossible to ensure civil peace. This is shown not only by Russian but also by foreign experience Therefore, our immigration laws should evolve in this direction,"the president stressed.
