The European Union is preparing new sanctions against Iran, sharing US concerns about the nuclear program of Tehran, President of the European Council Herman von Rompuy said, ANS PRESS reports.
Rompuy met US President Barack Obama but has not clarified sanctions. The US and the EU expressed concerns about the nuclear program and devotion to make Iran fulfill its obligations, including resolution of the UN Security Council and cooperation with the IAEA.
