Azerbaijan to invest in Ingushetia

Azerbaijani Minister for Economic Development Shakhin Mustafayev is on a visit to Ingushetia. The visit is part of the agreement signed during a visit by Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov and Alexander Khloponin, Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the NCFD, in Baku in October 2011, Yevkurov's press service says.


Mustafayev expressed interest in business and investments in the town of Aramkhi in the Jeyrakhsky district. The meeting was chaired by Musa Chiliyev, head of the Ingush government. The Azerbaijani minister says that Ingushetia would be suitable for tea packaging, opening a woodworking factory and investment in Ingush agricultural enterprise Kavdolomit.


Baku will host an economic forum in spring 2012, with Ingush businessmen invited to present information. The Armkhi and Tsori ski resorts were presented.


The guests visited the city of Military Glory Malgobek and the Honorary Alley of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The delegation laid flowers at the memorial to Heydar Aliyev and the protectors of Malgobek in the Great Patriotic War.
