Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has expressed regret over the attack on the British Embassy in Tehran, German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle said after bilateral talks with Salehi prior to the Bonn Conference on Afghanistan, RBC reports.
Westerwelle said that his Iranian counterpart promised to do everything necessary to prevent such incidents in the future. The German minister underlined that any attack on a diplomatic mission of an EU state is a threat to the European Union as a whole.
