Sofia hosts talks on Georgian-Bulgarian economic cooperation

An inter-parliamentary commission is hosting a session in Sofia to discuss Georgian-Bulgarian economic and agricultural cooperation. Georgia is represented by Minister for Economy Vera Kobalia, Business Georgia reports.


Trade turnover between the two states in the first 10 months of 2011 reached $279 million, Kobalia says. She expressed interest in cooperation in transport, air service, agriculture and energy.


Bulgarian Minister for Transport, Information Technologies and Communications Ivaylo Moskowski noted that consideration of certain cooperation issues would affect results.
