Mikhail Gorbachev criticizes Russia's elections

Former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev says Russia's parliamentary elections held on Sunday weren't fair, Ekho Moskvy reports.

According to the former Soviet leader, the most transparent and fair elections in the history of Russia were held in the Soviet times, in 1989 and then in 1990. There were no fair elections thereafter, the former president believes.
