Russia expresses concern about the NATO missile defense system to be constructed in Turkey, RIA Novosti reports on Thursday.
"This radar will cover a large part of Russia's territory," Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said today.
The US and Turkey signed an agreement in September to construct a missile shield in the south-eastern part of Turkey.
According to the Russian official, this missile defense system is unnecessary. "There is already one such radar. A second one is useless," Lavrov said.
