Ingush MPs have elected Mukharbek Didigov, a former senator of the Federation Council, as a Speaker of Parliament today, RIA Novosti reports.
Ingushetia had three-level elections on December 4. People took part in the Russian parliamentary polls, local polls and municipal polls. The United Russia received 22 mandates out of 27 in the local parliament, Fair Russia and the CPRF received two mandates each, Right Cause got 5% of vote and received one mandate.
Didigov received 22 votes, two against and three voting sheets were nullified.
