Iran may secure nuclear facilities in case of threats

Iranian nuclear facilities may be moved to safer locations should any threats arise, General Gholam Reza Jalili, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force (IRGC AF), said, ITAR-TASS reports.

He expressed doubts about attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities. If the US and Israel could carry out a strike they would have done it, he says.

The general reported that a center has been formed to prevent cyber attacks. The center was called MAHR and will coordinate the efforts of all structures, including the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies. An attack of the Stucksnet virus was countere successfully last year. The Duku program failed to do much damage.

Jalili said that cyber security is especially essential for such facilities as the Bushehr nuclear power plant.
