President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan is against the participation of
Turkey in the process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement.
"Turkey is trying to meddle in a process, which obviously has nothing
to do with it" - Sargsyan said in his address to the Armenian diaspora
in Rostov-on-Don.
According to the press-service of the Armenian president, Turkey is
not ready to ratify Armenian-Turkish protocols and "that is why
Armenia decided to put the rapprochement process on hold", Interfax
reports.
"Turkey is putting forward more and more preconditions in attempt to
justify this failure. We have nothing to discuss with an unreliable
partner, who violates preliminary agreements. Time has shown that the
Armenian side has done everything possible to open the last closed
border in Europe, while Turkey is not ready to support this process
yet," - the president said.
He also noted that Armenia would not turn the right of the people of
Nagorno-Karabakh for self-determination into a bargaining chip.
