Iranian General Ali Hajizade said that Iran would target a NATO radar in Turkey if any threats should arise. His statement was followed with a statement by Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, TRT reports.
Salehi said that the country's official position can only be expressed by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the minister himself.
Salehi noted that there are common foes trying to cause tensions between Turkey and Iran. Iran and Turkey supplement each other in many spheres.
