Vladislav Surkov appointed acting head of Kremlin administration

Vladislav Surkov has been appointed acting head of the presidential administration, ITAR-TASS reports.

Former Kremlin administration chief Sergey Narushkin resigned in order to work in the State Duma, the lower chamber of the Russian Parliament.

Vladislav Surkov is widely known as the Kremlin's main spin doctor, labeled by Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov as a "puppeteer."
