Iraq war is over - President Obama

US President Barack Obama says the Iraq war is finally over, world media report.

Almost all US troops have been withdrawn from Iraq, with the last soldiers now returning.

President Obama opposed the war all the way to the White House and he is the one ending the conflict and getting every last troop home.
