Today Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said some words about inter-ethnic relations in Russia and the economic situation in the Caucasian republics.
The head of the Political Situation Center, Sergey Mikheyev, told a VK correspondent about the economic problems Russia is facing nowadays.
According to the expert, unemployment is not purely a Caucasian problem. All the regions of Russia are facing this problem, meaning that certain measures should be taken by everyone and not only in the Northern Caucasus.
Sergey Mikheyev agreed that the Caucasus needs new jobs and investment, but underlined that nowadays allocated funds are stolen by local elites and so the situation is not changing.
