Saakashvili calls on government to cancel vacations

Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili called on ministers and
deputies to cancel their vacations, in order to fulfill promises of
the election campaign in as short a time as possible, reports Novosti
Georgia.
A new Internal Revenue Code was introduced to the parliament, which
provided simplifications of some procedures for entrepreneurs. At the
same time parliamentarians have plans to unify the Internal Revenue
Code and the Customs Code.
The president noted that simplifying various procedures will boost
development of the private sector, and that the measures make Georgia
more attractive to foreign investors.
