US Ambassador John Bass said that cooperation with Georgia has improved, commenting on US military expenditure in 2012. The Senate passed the document on the budget on December 15, Georgia Online reports.
The document urges the US president to develop and present a plan for normalization to the Congressional committee for defense and foreign links. The plan is to support Georgia. It is to be composed in 90 days.
The document contains points on military expenses and maintenance in Georgia. NATO members are welcome to sell weapons to Georgia.
John Bass also thanked Georgia for cooperating in the operation in Afghanistan.
