The authorities of Syria signed a protocol that allows admission of the observer mission from the League of Arab States (LAS) to the country, APA reports citing Agence France-Presse. These observers will check investigate whether the Syrian government is peacefully resolving the crisis in the country and intending to cease the bloodshed.
Earlier the LAS has decided to cease Syria's participation in the organization and introduced economic sanctions against the country in connection with the ongoing clashes there, which according to the UN statistics, have claimed more than 5000 people.
