The US has demanded that Tehran release suspected CIA spy Amir Merzai Hekmati immediately, BBC reports.
Interfax said that US officials tried to organize a meeting with Hekmati through the Swiss embassy as a mediator. The US says that Iran holds innocent foreigners for political motives and gets evidence by force.
