Sergey Reshulsky, deputy head of the CPRF, proposed Admiral Vladimir Komodoyev to head the defense committee, Sergey Sobko - industry committee, Sergey Gavrilov - property committee, Vladimir Kashin - committee for natural resources and ecology, Nikolay Kharitonov - committee for interregional policy, Alexey Russkikh - committee for construction and lands. The working group supports them.
The committee for information and communications will be closed, replaced by subcommittee of the culture committee.
Fair Russia's initiative to organize a committee for housing and utilities headed by Galina Khovanskaya was approved, MP Oksana Dmitriyeva said. Valery Chereshnev may supervise the committee for science and technologies, Ivan Grachev - committee for energy, Yelena Mizulina - committee for family, women and children.
The United Russia Party offered former head of the Kremlin Administration Sergey Naryshkin to become the Speaker, LDPR - Vladimir Zhirinovsky, CPRF - Ivan Melnikov. The United Russia has 238 mandates, it neds only 226 out of 450 votes.
Morozov said on Tuesday that Alexander Zhukov and Ivan Melnikov are two candidates for Vice-Speaker.
