Former president of the Soviet Union Mikhail Gorbachev mourns the recent death of former president of Czechoslovakia Vaclav Havel, Ekho Moskvy reports on Tuesday.
Gorbachev visited the Czech embassy in Moscow and expressed his condolences to the ambassador.
Vaclav Havel, prominent Czech dissident and then first democratic leader of the country, died at the age of 75 on December 18th. The funeral scheduled for Friday is going to be attended by a Russian delegation headed by Russian ombudsman Vladimir Lukin.
