Terek Grozny's new Ahmad Kadyrov stadium will bid to host Russian
football's Super Cup in 2011, the Chechen Minister of Sport Khaydar
Alkhanov said at a meeting with Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov,
ITAR-TASS reports.
The 30,000-capacity modern stadium is due to open in March and will
have natural grass heated by a special system. Team buses will enter
the stadium under the terraces, and VIPs will enter the stadium in
cars directly to the second floor of the western terrace. The
adjoining sport complex will also be named after Ahmad Kadyrov.
